We arrived at the property at 4pm after a long day of travel and we were not greeted or acknowledged by the "Premiere" check-in staff for 20mins. After the staff finally acknowledged us and checked us in, we were told our room was not ready yet and had to wait an additional 30min. After 30mins, we only knew that our room was ready because we returned to the check-in desk and asked. Otherwise, we would not have been told!
After being escorted to our room, (of which we paid extra for an ocean view!!), the room was located on the ground level facing the pool. If I stood on my toes and looked VERY hard, I could see the ocean. Disappointing!!! The room was musty, and the bathroom was dirty (hair on the floor and you could not see through the glass shower divider. I thought it was stained, but nope, it was dirty!) Additionally, the safe did not work, and there was not hot water for 2 days! The room was very run down!
The staff at the buffet restaurant(s) were not attentive or friendly! Half the time they would not acknowledge us to obtain a drink, and half the time we would ask for one and it would never show up before we were done eating. The food was not good, and it seemed they would "reheat" the same items from lunch/dinner.
The only good thing that I have to say about this resort is the pool is nice, but they need to buy more loungers! If you don't place your towel by 7am, good luck finding a chair!
