Not Worth the Rate
The smell of clorox in the bathroom makes me nauseous. The bed is too high, I would need a step stool to access is comfortably. You can hear the other guests (kids) running in the hallway at night, and loud adults yelling in the hallway. The breakfast offering consists only of prepacked oatmeal, cereals, milk, sweet breads. The coffee is good though. The dresser drawer in the bedroom keeps opening automatically, must have a defect. The counter in the bathroom seems to have a poor paint job, like a DIY paint job at a house. The rate of $145/night is not worth it. It is obviously a motel, misleading asa Wyndham hotel. No elevator and we were assigned to second floor room

Good stay again
We have stayed here many times and always thought it was well run and exceptionally clean. While I miss the pre-covid breakfast, with more choices and some eggs, the current hi carb breakfast of cereal, toast and juice is okay and the fridge in the room allows us to save more choices. The new mattresses and new brighter light fixtures with loads of different choices of plug ins for devices is much appreciated!

Reasonably priced motel to explore Joshua Tree NP
Reasonably priced motel as a great base for Joshua Tree National Park. There are several restaurants and supermarkets close by. The manager was friendly and helpful. The decor was dated, but the motel was very functional.

2night family trip.
The area was good, felt safe. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. However, the beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in and when went to take our morning showers there was hardly any hot water. The breakfast was just a grab and go style. Only oatmeal, cereal, packaged muffin/honey buns and choice of orange juice and or apple juice. Coffee and tea available 24/7. Room rates were affordable.

More bad than good - Not for families.
Good: Location is convenient, across from a grocery store, with restaurants nearby. Was relatively inexpensive until the clerk wanted to add cost per person, not just a flat rate for the same room. Bad: Hotel is rundown and rooms are small. Not a great family place to stay, from the tight room, paper-thin walls, and creeky floors, to the lousy breakfast. There was not a single fruit or protein choice for breakfast. Bedding and mattresses were poor. Bathroom fixtures were broken; lots of damage to the walls and flooring throughout. Overall: Even for the cost, I would stay elsewhere as a family. By yourself, perhaps worth the inconveniences.

10 minutes to get hot water
This winter i stayed one nite here and to my dismay started the shower without heat- it took nearly 10 minutes for hot water to arrive to my showerhead and I was already resigned to take a quick cold shower. Even when the hot water came online, it quickly reduced to tepid, although way better than ice cold as it started. Also, dark long human hair strands were among my fresh towels and linens and sink - did not inspire cleanliness, especially for the $120 I paid for the room.

Clean and comfortable room. Good wifi signal and everything worked in the room. Breakfast was lacking with only offerings of toast, pre-packaged danish, instant oatmeal, and cereal. Friendly staff and the area seemed safe. Goof option for a moderately priced motel that's not far from an entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

Budget Motel but I would stay again.
Budget Motel, has all the basics. A noisy place in the morning. Doors slamming, hardwood floors in the corridors, staff running carts up and down. All doing good work but I would suggest door closers and a carpet runner in the corridors. Laundry room would be nice. For the price it is pretty good though.
