My stay at this hotel from August 31 to September 2, 2023, was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The problems started with severe sewer and drain issues in the first room. The bathroom smelled horrible, and it was impossible to breathe comfortably. To make matters worse, the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite being in a non-smoking hotel.
I was moved to a second room, then a third, and yet every room had the same terrible issues – disgusting smells from the drains and smoke everywhere. This hotel clearly has serious maintenance and cleanliness problems.
When I approached the manager, Ms. Mitchele Taber, she admitted that they couldn’t provide me with a decent room and advised me to cancel my second night. She promised a full refund and said she would contact Hotels.com to process it. That NEVER happened. Instead, I was charged for both nights and hit with additional deposit fees totaling $150.
I’ve reached out to the hotel and Ms. Taber multiple times, but they have completely ignored my emails. Even Hotels.com confirmed that they’ve received no communication from the hotel about my refund.
This place is a complete disaster. The rooms are uninhabitable, the management is unresponsive, and the customer service is nonexistent. Save yourself the frustration and STAY AWAY from this hotel! If you encounter any problems, don’t expect them to fix it or even acknowledge you.
