Strong cigarette smell in room and general “worn” appearance of everything, plus lack of cleanliness made for a disappointing experience. Location close to the Amtrak station was the only redeeming factor.

2nd stay

This is our second time staying at this hotel. This is an older hotel but it is one of the most inexpensive. Hotel is in a great location for going to a ball game. Rooms are big, bed slept well and seemed safe. None of the ice machines work in the building or at least none that we found. Carpets need to be cleaned. Overall, I would stay here again.

The staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. Convenient to downtown. The hotel needs some renovations and updated. Room was spacious and not too dirty, but the carpet had lots of stains. Overall, the stay was fine. A bit pricey for the conditions. But I would not say it was a negative experience.

The lobby and hallways were very nice, customer service at front desk was really nice. Rooms condition was very nasty. Hair clumps in the bathroom, poop smears in the toilet, stains all over the carpet in the room and a horrible mildew smell. Was not pleased at all with our stay.
