8/10 Very good

A bit worn out but so lovely staff and good location
Eva, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Ok but probably would not stay again

Although we didn’t have breakfast (didn’t start until way too late), I understand the choices were very limited. Rooms were very small, staircases were very narrow which made carrying our luggage up the stairs quite difficult. The front desk was very friendly. Location of hotel was great so if that is important then this is the hotel for you. If a little larger room with some amenities is important then I would look elsewhere.
Rhonda, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Everything was walking distance to the hotel.

The staff and reception are the only reason I’m not giving one star. Unfortunately the rooms and the rest of the building are way past their best. Windows are cracked, floor tiles are broken, thick layer of dust on the bed frame and the bathroom is a mess of peeling sealant, carpets in the hall are threadbare and paintwork has worn off. The bathroom of my room was tiny, you have to climb over the toilet to get in the shower and you can rest your head on the sink in front of you while sitting on the toilet. For the price, I shouldn’t be surprised and wasn’t expecting five star, just a well put together basic room.

Somewhat run down; soup missing from room; TVs were not working and it is stated that coffee and croissant were available from 9 - 11; but by 9:30 they were out and made no attempt to accommodate; you dont get the sense that they care about the patron

Nice stay

Comfortable stay in reasonable hotel central Amsterdam. Short walk to lot of attractions.

Very treacherous stairs. No elevator, had to carry our luggage up and down four flights of those stairs. No hot water tap on sink. Hand towel instead of bath towel. No cleaning of room or towel exchange during stay. TV didn’t have reception.

I love thé friendly atmosphere. The relatively central location means I can walk everywhere easily.

Perfect location

Great location, very quiet room, good heating at night. I’m 6’2” and hit my head a lot walking around the room and hotel, but that’s normal in Europe, and bed was a little small for my height.

A great place to stay in Paris

The neighborhood is safe and close to excellent cafes, bike lanes, and metro. The staff were terrific. Very kind and attentive to any request we had. The room was all we could ask for (clean, quiet, comfy, etc).

IT wasn',t as clean as it could've been. Only thing they did was that The carbagge was taken out. After three days clean towels.. The sheets were dirty in the beginning
Johanna Maria, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

The rooms are dirty and smelly. I had to check out. I was unable to sleep in these conditions.
Deborah, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff was super friendly. Free, coffee drinks in the morning. I ordered the capucinno- delicious. The area was super convienient to everything, right on a canal. The property itself was older and not updated, but the location, cost and staff made it lovely.

Just like the pictures

Amazing location and just like shown in the pictures. Rooms are a bit on the compact size but bed was comfy so all good. Typical old Dutch house so steep stairs to be expected...
Krysiak, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Once I settled in I took to my new surroundings like a duck to water. Being a person of culture, I appreciated the history of Amsterdam. I even put my time to good use by visiting the Amsterdam Museum as well as Rembrandthuis and The Van Gogh Museum. Staff at the Rembrandtplein Hotel were friendly and hospitable. Love the cat!
Julian, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Wonderful staff and perfect location, just such a shame about how dated and run down the rooms are. It was livable, but not particularly nice to be in. The shower room is tiny and water pools inside, and our toilet had a cable tie for a flush, which staff were very apologetic for. Very odd room filled with lots of mirrors… That said, bedding was clean, and the bed was comfy. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for where we needed to be, and at the price we paid, you don’t exactly expect luxury! 3 stars overall

Rubbish “hotel” - don’t touch

Location is great - that’s the only good thing I can say I’m guessing it used to be a brothel, and may be protected, but the amount of mirrors are disturbing Tiny bathroom No tea/coffee options - not even a cup to fill with water And, we’re in 2025, no central heating???????? No lift - my room was on the 4th floor - tricky stairs to negotiate In short - I wouldn’t even call it a hotel, definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone Comfortably in my top 3 worst hotels - AVOID
