I only had two requirements for a place to stay in Paris: an apartel and ease for late check in. When I typed in these requirements, this place showed up unassumingly. When I arrived, I was so pleasantly surprised. It is within 15 minutes walking distance of everything: the train to the airport, the Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter, Sorbonne, and the metros. Musee Orsay is only 20 minutes away. When you come out of the hotel after 5 pm, you will come across streets leading away from the River Seine. Take them and you will be surprised by how lively these streets are. They are fully of elegant stores and nice food places. It’s full of people. Despite its location in a very busy area, the room is extremely quiet. In the evening, you can hear nothing but your own breathing. The most surprising of all about this hotel is how it pays attention to details. Checking in and out are the most painless. The lobby has coffee machines to serve free coffee, tea, milk all day, and a lemonade bar. Downstairs has a laundromat. In the room, there is everything you need in the home away from home: a fully equipped kitchen with cooking and eating wares, a microwave-oven, a fridge, a dishwasher. In the living area, you have a desk to work, and extra chairs and a small table to set up a dinner for two. Just in case it rains, there are two umbrellas in the closet. It would be a perfect place if there are salt and pepper packets for cooking and a scale to check my weight gains.
