Great Staff, Outdated Hotel, and a Valet Nightmare
I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown and had a mixed experience. First, I want to commend the staff—they were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt warm and welcoming, which made a big difference.
That said, the hotel itself could use some updating. The decor and amenities felt a bit tired, and while everything was clean and functional, it lacked the modern touch you’d expect from a downtown property.
The real disappointment, however, was the valet service. Upon checkout, it took an entire hour for them to retrieve my car. There was no communication, no apology, and absolutely no sense of urgency. Watching staff casually stroll around while guests waited was frustrating and unacceptable. It left a sour note on what could have been a much more pleasant departure.
If you’re staying here, enjoy the hospitality—but be prepared to make alternate plans for parking.
