Very comfortable hotel in a great location

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Surprisingly good buffet (especially breakfast). Would highly recommend!

The service was first class. All the staff were helpful and kind. The room was large and the queen twin beds were so comfortable. My only criticism would be the toilet paper! It wasn’t soft.

Andorra 2019

Nice comfortable hotel in the area of Andorra La Vella. Located conveniently to all the shops and restaurants with good facilities and convenient parking allocation.

Not the usual standard experienced at Holiday Inn

When we got to our room and the first thing we noticed was the smell of sewage in the bathroom. We went to reception and advised them and also asked to be moved to another room. This was not a problem but were told that it was an old hotel and can expect this from time to time. Spanish version of Butlins holiday camp particularly not happy when you spend 25 euros a head for dinner and get a version of Faulty towers between the maitre D and the waiter who was throwing chairs around. It may sound funny but it was loud, full of screaming kids and not to the usual standard of Holiday inn that we have experienced. The room was clean and large but overlooked the main road and very noisy when the windows were opened. This is not a place for tranquillity and relaxation unless you take a gas mask, are hard of hearing and love children.

Lovely, comfortable hotel

Really nice hotel in central Andorra. A few minutes walk to the main shopping area but still central and next to the park. The hotel is a typical Holiday Inn, that's not a bad thing. Nice room, clean and stylish, loads of towels (loads), good facilities and restaurant. The pool is absolutely tiny and has way too Mich chlorine in it, my kids eyes were stinging after a very short dip, and when I say tiny I mean a slightly oversized bath. Warm tho, kids loved it but, oddly, you do need to wear a swimming hat. You can get one at reception for €2.50 or bring your own. Overall highly recommend

Very nice hotel

Really nice hotel. Very friendly staff. The Buffet was 7-8 on scale. Very pricey area but overall hotel was a plus.

Disappointed

The public areas of the hotel are stuffy and there is an unpleasant smell throughout the hallways. Parking is charged at €22 per day and access to the basement car park is very narrow and steep and likely to cause damage to one's vehicle if it is a larger model or SUV. Reception is slow to remedy minor tasks when asked to do so (it took almost 7hrs to deliver bed linen for our child's pull out bed). Breakfast can be had locally at several local restaurants at a fraction of the cost of what's charged in the hotel. This is a big thumbs down for those travelling with young kids as convenience is king. The swimming pool is tiny, a max of 21persons allowed. Our kids laughed at it's size and chose not to get it, a first for them in any hotel. It is a plunge pool not a swimming pool. On the plus side the rooms were spacious and very clean and the hotel is ideally located in the town. Pity about the offputting smell and poor service.
