Sweet Springs Lodge is a cabin nestled in between the valleys of the Appalachian Mountain Range and Lake Guntersville itself. 1 Mile north of Lake Guntersville State Park and 1 mile south of Town Creek boat ramp, this lodge is peaceful, scenic, and close to the lake! You have full access to a private pond that has been stocked with Lake Guntersville bass since 1995. Bring your group for an unforgettable vacation full of fishing, boating, hiking, and sightseeing in Northern Alabama.
This cabin-style lodge can sleep up to 14 people, and is the perfect place to stay for a family getaway, a group of anglers wanting to fish the lake, or a beautiful vacation.
You will arrive at the lodge, enter through a keypad code given to you upon check-in, and have the place to yourself for your stay. If any specialties are needed, they can be made available upon request, or with a phone call to the owners.
Cell phone service is very spotty at this location. There is complimentary Wifi with you stay, and cell service can be access one mile north of the property at Town Creek by the boat ramps and grocery/tackle store, if needed at any time.
This property used to be a water bottling facility and was called "Little New York". Back in the early 1900s, moonshine used to be made in the natural spring bluffs on the mountainside. There is a lot of history in this area.
The building on this property is also located on a wedding venue. The owners occasionally have to come in and out of the indoor venue building (not the lodge) during the day, but will not be in your way at all during your stay! This property was rehabbed this past year into a Wedding Venue from it's former water bottling days. The Wedding Venue is now up and running and we allow for renters at the beautiful lodge when weddings are not scheduled.
