I made a reservation one month and a half ago, I communicate through expedia that I will arrive late because my flight was delayed, expedia respond the message saying that everything was good. But when I arrived the hotel at midnight my reservation had been canceled by a manager at the hotel because they couldn't charge my credit card during the afternoon. The lady at the reception desk was a truly angel, she fixed everything and got a room for my family. Expedia, you should make better your clients communication through your channels.

I check in room stink real bad I put the key to turn on the a/c so the small go away next day I go out come back key is not there fine my last day I was in the bathroom my doughther in bed someone get get in the room a men and girl saying sorry the give us this room but the people look very scare and run out my doughther was crying how someone get in you room 1 am is not right I don’t recommend this to none I stay here becuse hotel Riu across the street was full please every one don’t risk your family life on this place spend the. More dollars and get a real good service and you don’t have to go true my experience

Hotel was very clean, especially the bathroom. Room was especially clean for how dated it was. For example, there were not enough plug-ins, and some equipment was broken (sockets, window curtain). However, staff does an amazing job keeping this dated hotel in tip top shape. For example, they thoroughly cleaned (including bleach) the rooms and even asked if we wanted extra cleanings when the do not disturb was on the door (when they saw me in the hallway). Another example of their amazing service is they physically carried a refrigerator to our room when we asked if we could have one. Some complaints: Gym is in need of repair and updating, the steam room is not functioning, the pool area lacked attention, and the breakfast buffet was not good. Food to order was much better, though. And i cannot overstate this: each and every one of the staff was amazing. They made it a point to treat you like you were the only guest. Very friendly and accomodating. Overall this hotel was worth the cost, but only because of the staff. The building needs some work/repair/rennovation and the breakfast needs improvement.
