In the middle of the Ra National Park, this holiday home is in the countryside. It is well protected in the middle of the trees and yet very close to the coast at Arendal, more precisely outside of it, on the island of Tromøya. The former wooden barrack was last renovated and modernized in 2014 and is bright and comfortably furnished. There are four bedrooms to choose from, as well as a hallway and open kitchen / living area for family life in the house. Bathroom with shower cabin, sink and well-ventilated toilet (no toilet! - see photo). The kitchen is well equipped, including a stove, dishwasher, coffee machine and combined fridge / freezer. There is a road to the house, but the last 400 m are on an unpaved forest path. Two parking spaces on site at the house. Since the house is located in the middle of the Ra National Park, there are various walks and coastal paths to explore on site. Many also use the area to fish from the shore. Nearby is also the small body of water Botnetjerna, where there are also supposed to be fish. On the island of Tromøya, which is located just outside the larger town of Arendal, leisure activities such as horse riding are offered, and you can also go hiking and swimming here. It is special for the beach shores at Færvik that there is a sandy beach for one year and a pebble beach for the next year - depending on the wind direction in winter. The Kongshavn shopping center with shops and cafes is easily accessible by bridge from Tromøya.
