The property is nice, but the check in / check out was not very good. First, the front desk insisted a $45 parking fee per night which was supposed to be free while booking with Hotels.com. After that was clarified and waived, there was a $200.00 fee charged to my credit card, in addition to my original quoted price of $420.00. I am still trying to be refunded the $200. Upon check out again, the front desk was billing me another $90 for parking! I have family and a grandson living in San Diego. My wife and I travel once a week from Los Angeles to San Diego, Staying in many resort properties. We are retired senior citizens and shouldn't be surprised with all of these hidden fees. Im used to other properties being more up front with their booking practices. It rained all weekend and to be billed a "resort fee" is a little much too. We didn't use the pool, paddle boards, or bicycles because of the weather, but still billed the resort fee. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy water sports including surfing and scuba diving but not when its raining. Again, its a nice property... it needs help at the front desk.
