Overall good experience
Walking in there was an air of cigarette and/or cigar smell in the hallways and lobby. But the room was perfect. No bad smells. Room was clean. On check in we hit one small snag, I have a service dog and the desk receptionist asked me for documentation. This is actually illegal under the ADA. You can ask if it's a service dog and what tasks does it do. I quickly explained there is no federal or state recognized paperwork or documentation but I answered the questions that should have been asked. Anyone who flashes papers they got online, those are the frauds. She didn't argue with me about it and everything went off fine. AC worked, TV worked. We received back our security deposit without an issue. This is a good hotel for anyone looking for a clean place to rest

Strange. Built like a Palace, but needs some work
Elegant but strange vibes here, Someone built a luxury hotel 25 years ago and it's been made into a cheap hotel since then. Really nice lobbies and hallways. The rooms were nice. I saw only 1 person of the staff during my visit. Bar and restaurant has closed permanently some time ago. No breakfast. I didn't see any ghosts. That would have been cool. Hotel is on the local ghost tour.

For Florida Families Who Often Make Park Day Trips
First impression, even though I booked through a travel site, the hotel was so accommodating and let me change the check in date at no cost when our plans changed. We arrived at 8pm, and the person at the front desk was sound asleep. I said "excuse me" and "hello" so many times at varying volumes that I almost felt bad to wake her. When she did wake up, she was very sweet and accommodating. (I did not for one minute get the impression she was using, she just seemed genuinely exhausted, and wasn't "nodding off".) She told us everything we needed to know, and when we returned to the lobby for pool towels 30 minutes later, she was chipper and helpful. My daughter, grandchildren and myself had the giant pool and hot tub to ourselves, and I had an amazing time in the pool with my grandbabies. The water was chilly (too chilly for my daughter), but didn't stop us from having fun. When I saw it in the daylight, I didn't love how much it needed to be cleaned, but okay. Definitely some serious updating could stand to be done. Carpets weren't awesome, and some towels were stained. But, if I'm being honest, it's a fraction of the cost of lots of the places around it and was less than ten minutes from the park we were visiting. I wouldn't recommend that you stay as part of super special Orlando vacation, but for people who pretty regularly drive a couple of hours for the parks, this place was a treat who's cost justified not making the trip up and back in one day. We'll stay again.

The staff was friendly and quiet. Our room was clean. Love that the pool and hot tub were open till 11pm. The hotel is an older hotel. Pictures are outdated. Definitely needs some TLC. The bed was low and when you lay in it, it dips in the middle and top. Your feet are higher then your head. Went to the store to buy better pillows. The TV had green lines through most of the channels. Everyone has there own experiences at hotels. Some families we talked to werent happy and some were while staying there.

Old beds and uncomfortable
Looks great on the pictures and pool area is nice. But rooms and floors are very old. Hotels needs an upgrade. Beds are super old. Woke up with a very bad body ache because of the uncomfortable bed.

Health risk! I will not be coming back.
First I want to say I was catfish by there pictures and reviews. Those pictures had to be taken 10 to15 years ago. First walking in they had a broken door so it was open to outside everyday and night. Once I checked in the elevators gave it away with black grime in the corners and floor. My room wasn’t as bad as my friends that also stayed there that had a moldy smell but as I walked into my room there were 2 stains on the floor one was black the other was white. TV was old and about to go out as the screen had a greenish lines around the people on the screen. Corners in the bathroom again had grime and the paint on the ceiling was chipping. The vent in the bathroom looked black and gross. Lastly the pool canopies were all ripped up and the roof had dirt and mold clearly on top.

Uncomfortable stay
Hotel was run down, definitely needs a good cleaning and updated ceiling tiles and light fixtures, they are moldy, dirty and falling down. Our room smelled like mold or wet dog. The sconce in our room was loose and we could see the wiring. Our shower only ran HOT and the drain plug was not attached. Also, our shower had hair left from a prior guest. Lastly our tv was broken and we were never able to get ahold of hotel staff to fix any issues or change rooms. At check in the staff was not very friendly, check in is located across the hotel from parking so not convenient. They are behind a large plexiglass window so it is hard to hear them. When checking out the clerk was watching tv and did not notice us or hear us trying to get his attention so we sat there for a few minutes. It was just odd service overall. We did not expecting a 5 star hotel stay at the price, however we did expect a clean and functional room.

Needs improvement
The facility's cleanliness and maintenance require improvement. Grounds are unkempt, and hallways and rooms smell damp and moldy. Nevertheless, the facility has potential.

Property okay
Hotel is okay. Dated. Can’t park in front where lobby is. Have to park on the side and then walk down the hall to the lobby. We got there around 2:00. The lady at the desk wouldn’t even consider an hour early check in. She would only say ‘check in is at 3:00. Not many people staying that night as the parking lot had maybe ten cars all night. Pool was not heated so we went in the hot tub. The metal handrail was rusted in the water. Just didn’t feel clean. Note that there is a $100 hold on credit card.

They have a return duct COVERED WITH CARDBOARD LITERALLY WITH OUTSIDE AIR BLOWING INTO THE ROOM TALK ABOUT A SAFTEY RISK THAT LIGHT COMING THUR IS THE OUTside showing Thur the vents.

Older hotel
Photos aren’t accurate description of the hotel . It’s much older than the photos appear. Staff was friendly and was clean but definitely in need of remodeling. There was no iron or microwave in the room. Our room was clean but carpet had iron stains burned in and very dated and pretty gross . The tv in our room was tiny . Restaurant and bar closed in the hotel was closed so that was disappointing .
