It was blatant FALSE ADVERTISING. It says explicitly on the Expedia website (which I have open in front of me as I write this) that it is in central Beijing a 15 minute walk from Tiananmen Square. In reality it is a TWO HOUR DRIVE from central Beijing, out in the countryside somewhere. When I learned that, I had my taxi turn around and return to Beijing to find another hotel. I am not paying for this fraud and am going to take legal action against them for misrepresentation.
