There is an entrance/exit to the subway system directly beside the hotel, makes getting to and from a breeze whether you are going to the main station or headed to the airport. Super convenient location.

Convenient stay!

Friendly front desk clerk was happy to hold my luggage before checking in. Check in was smooth, and check out was even smoother with just dropping your room key in the check out machine at the hotel exit. The room is small and is not suited to staying longer, but if you’re in Fukuoka for business it’s a perfect place. Right in between airport station and Hakata main station, and right outside of the subway exit #4

Good location

Location is good, but right next to the gasoline station. Before the trip begins, I do feel the hotel response via APP is excellent. However, when I check in, I asked for two room keys for the single room as I need to take care of the elder person (around 80 years old) who stayed in single room, and all the hotel staffs refused my request. I do think the hotel has no flexibility and it became the major defect I thought about this hotel. Only few restaurants nearby the hotel, the best advantage is the 24 hours open supermarket right behind the hotel, and convenient stores (Lawson, 7 Eleven, Family Mart) in few minutes' walk.

The hotel is located by the Hagashi-Hie station which is one stop from Fukuoka airport. Wall to Hakata station is only 20mins pleasant walk. Hotel check-in is self serve but there are staff available to assist if needed. Room is a typical Japanese size but was very clean. We didnt need the room cleaned for the second night but they still provided extra towels and amenities.

Service was exceptional. Other APA locations ask you to check-in yourself and foreigners tend to struggle in this process. But when we arrived, we were greeted warmly and the front desk staff checked us in quickly. I also wanted to courier (takyubin) my suitcases to a hotel in Osaka, the front desk lady Iwata was extremely friendly and helpful, she confirmed my booking with the hotel in Osaka and that they can receive the packages. Then she completed the way bill for me and leaving a note to her colleague for the next day when I checked out. The whole process was very streamlined. APA hotel rooms are small so you have to be strategic in moving your suitcases. We were able to fit 2 big and 1 carryon under the bed. Beside the small room, all amenities are provided. Location was great, as it was 1 stop east to Hakata where we did most of our transit. The hotel is literally at one of the station exit, but there is no escalator so be prepared to haul the suitcases. It’s not in the downtown core so it’s quiet at night which we appreciated. There is a seven eleven convenience store just across the street.

very close to Higashi hie exit

The location of this hotel is amazing. If you take the Higashi Hie exit #4, you are literally 10 steps to the front door of the hotel. The only con is if you have heavy bags as we did, climbing the stairs of this exit was a task. There is another exit you can use across the street that has an escalator, making it a 3-5 minute walk from to the hotel, very accessible. My only gripe is that the a/c was not working during our stay. Room was well insulated from noise, could not hear a thing, despite being able to see airport from our window.
