Hotel Sancho Ramírez

Stopover for 2 nights. Good service on arrival, reception staff spoke excellent English. Garage parking under hotel suitable for motorbike. Restaurant open late so great for us as later than anticpated arriving in Pamplona, staff very helpful in arranging a meal. Good resturants and bars in area as close to university. Quite a walk into Pamplona old town, about 30mins, but buses available if required. Breakfast cost extra , €9, but basic. Overall good hotel.

Stayed for two nights for the Running of the Bulls. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the old town to attend the festival and can easily view the nightly 11pm fireworks from either the room or the massive park across the street. Short walk to a variety of restaurants. Main drawbacks - rooms aren’t particularly sound proof and the room didn’t have a remote for the air con so had to have the windows open which cooled down the room easily.

A good comfortable hotel with good facilities

The room was not super clean to start with, we found a hairball on the bathroom floor, the hot water in the sink was very, very slow, the minifridge did not work, nor did the soap dispenser in the bathroom or phone in the room, and we could hear the conversation from the room next door, and finally, the staff in the breakfast room were miserable!... On the plus side, they serve breakfast until 10.30 during the week and until 11.00am at the weekend. The reception staff were very pleasant and they let you check out at 2. 00pm when possible... Not very central so I don't think I would stay there again...

Staff was very nice, hotel lobby in satisfactory condition. The room we got was like a dungeon, 1 window with a view to other peoples dark courtyard, like looking at a dark alley of a residential area. So we kept it closed. The shower head was cracked, and early one morning our room filled with a burned food smell from the hotel kitchen, and the AC stopped working the morning we left. We actually decided to head to San Sebastien a day early. We didn't alert anyone because we were only there 3 nights and decided 2 was plenty. They may have moved us had we asked.

Was able to get a Bull Fight ticket through the hotel.

Great, spacious room. Very clean. Easy bus ride to San Fermin festival/bulls area

Great hotel and buffet breakfast is a great start to the day. Front rooms with a view to the park are excellent.

Very convenient location opposite a park and with private underground parking.
