Nice smaller hotel surrounded by bigger ones.

This hotel was such a great find among the larger hotels. All rooms are beach front. Great sunrise. Couple 100 yards from the Neptune statue which was awesome! I’m sure Virginia Beach is hopping in the summer but off season was relaxing.

The property was located in a prime spot. It was a very short walk to the beach and and the balcony was prime for the sunrise and people watching. The only thing that we didn't like was the HVAC unit wouldn't cook off the room enough to be totally comfortable at midday but with the balcony door open during the sunset and in the evening it cooled off comfortably. For the budget it's a nice place. I would stay again.

One of the staff stopped and asked me very rudely if I even rented a room there as I walked through the pool gate with a card in my hand. In the future you could apologize at least for being mistaken rather than walking off with your nose in the air

Our stay was very disappointing. My husband was bitten by bed bugs, and there was visible mold above the air vents, in the shower, and even on the shower curtains. The sink was falling apart as well. For $180 a night, we expected much better conditions. It’s frustrating to see that the owner isn’t investing in necessary upgrades and seems more focused on profit than on providing a safe, clean environment for guests.

No long story I love this hotel... One of my favorites!!! Nothing negative to say. Front desk is always helpful they are amazing once you stay there so many times they start to feel like family... Been coming here since 2023 and will be this weekend again for work.. I work down at the beach so I gets rooms sometimes through the week but mostly on weekends to keep from keeping back across the water to Newport News.
