The staff were very friendly. Beautiful smiles and seemed excited to hear about the Anime convention we were attending. There's no maid service so remember to ask for extra towels, trash bags etc. easy to do and graciously given. We plan to stay there again next year.

Hotel was dirty…from the numerous carpeting stains in the hallways, stairwells, and the room, the room had the mattresses tipped up against the box springs upon our arrival at 10pm that night, several cracked floor tiles at the side entrance, and we had coffee available downstairs in the morning but that was it, not sure what happened to the continental breakfast they advertised…it was not a pleasant trip for us.

The sole elevator did not have the required state safety inspection certificate. Another guest told me the elevator was not working for several days prior to the weekend. Limited choice on breakfast (orange juice dispenser dispensed mostly water, Cheerios were stale). Shower/tub facet only would dispense cold water with pressure or warm water at a drizzle.

Cracked floor tile in bathroom that actually moved when stepped on. Sink drain slow. Fridge hard to use in cabinet, had to move it to open it and move it back to close it. Elevator out of order when we arrived, had to haul our luggage up two flights of stairs to third floor room. It worked the next day, but not well. "Breakfast" was minimal. Carbs only. Waffles, toast, muffins, cereal, juice, milk, dispenser coffee. A/C noisy, weird noise. Bedside electrical outlets too loose to keep phone chargers plugged in.

It was alright, room was very dark and hard to see even after taking lamp shades off and opening the curtains for light, and the bathroom. Towel rack was broken and leaning down, you could see where someone tried to fix it. The shower- unless I'm dumb, barely trickled any water and had to alternate between scalding hot to try and warm it up to middle mark to get any water out of the shower head to wash soap out of your hair. Went early for breakfast and the only thing seen was toast and bagel. But no biggie there I'm not much on breakfast to begin with but was curious what was there.

Didn’t get room I reserved since they didn’t even look at all instructions such as having a dog. Room was terrible, dirty, broken items. Door don’t even fit properly. Smoke detector removed and not replaced. Not even good food at breakfast, no plug in for toaster

Convenient location to attractions on main street St. Charles. Room was comfortable but was dirty as the sheets were not clean and had crumbs in the sheets and spots were on them. In the bathroom I put the towels on the rack and the towel rack fell to the floor as it was just hanging there in loose drywall. Older hotel in need of money be reinvested into to it. Have been there several times just for the location and price point . Our running joke every time we stay is wondering if they are going to replace the tile in the elevator as it has cracked and busting loose for several years . Nice location, priced right but dont expectations to high.

Lots of broken tiles, lights out, Non Professional tried to fix things & you can tell they didn’t know what they were doing. I had to go to my car in the evening & skechy people hanging around the patio area. At one point, there were 3 police cars with lights on…pool was ICE COLD and tiny. And breakfast was a joke! Absolutely NO protein! All carbs. 1 waffle maker (no syrup) and oatmeal packets, and tiny muffins & cereal.
