Stay was okay however we had higher expectations. Service was cold and it felt as if the associates hearts weren't into the operation.
Example, we were told nothing about the hotel, breakfast or area when we arrived, only given room keys, one of which didn't even work. The lack of staff interaction was especially odd considering there was 4 employees hanging out at reception desk.
Lots of hair and dust in the room plus we even had cobwebs hanging from the shower ceiling. Only one small table in the room to set things down, not even bedside tables for water glasses or a cell phone. One of the window shades in the room was broken and would not retract. The bed however was great and the bedding was plush and clean.
Breakfast was very limited and our table was preset with food upon arrival. Service consisted of a bread basket, 1 slice of cheese & ham, a yogurt and hard cooked egg with an apple per person. The bread was stale and so hard you couldn't even tear it open. I understand covid and restrictions but at least communicate with guests what to expect. Also we never saw the breakfast attendant again after being sat at our table and there was no followup on how we were doing or if we needed anything else.
Overall, stay was just okay but if we were back in the area we'd probably choose a different place to stay.
