The place is walkable to most of the places and nice and quiet. There are a few restaurants nearby, plus a small neighborhood supermarket, very convenient.

First time stay in Civitavecchia!
Erwin and Francesca were very accommodating! We checked in early as our plane was an early arrival. There were plenty of snacks and drinks available. We took a nap soon after arriving and felt secure in our surroundings. Location was very good for walking around the old town area. Erwin took us to the cruise port this morning! What lovely people!

Erwin met us at the hotel and helped us with our luggage and explained a lot about our accommodations. There are only 2 private suites and a common kitchen area. Our room had the King bed and bathroom on the same level. The other one had the king bed up a spiral staircase with the bathroom on the lower level. Fortunately we had the first option. The room was very nice and big. He bathroom met our needs and the kitchen was very equipped and they supplied a lot of choices for breakfast. Everything looked clean. I was in communication with Erwin and he was very helpful. Even helped us get to the cruise terminal. What was nice for us was our friends were the guests that had the second room. I would recommend this place as an option for staying in Civitavecchia.

Very unique property. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Fully equiped kitchen. Would be a perfect spot for an extended stay. The only drawback were the stairs and no elevator. The host graciously carried our bags up the stairs. The kitchen came complete with snacks and breakfast food.

8/10 Very Good

I had hard time finding the place, although it's a walkable distance from the train station. The bus shuttle charges 6 euros from the cruise ship to the train station which is less than five minutes. I had to take a taxi who is a crook, he charged me 8 euros for nothing, he didn't even take me to the place. Apart from that the unit is clean and convenient. Nice customer service. Variety of food for breakfast, also for snacks.

It was as advertised for a good price and had a positive experience with the owner who went out of his way to drive us to the cruise terminal as we stayed in Civitavecchia for two nights awaiting for our cruise ship to depart. People in the surrounding shops and restaurants were very nice and we had a wonderful time.

Old world charm prefection
We so impress with the whole apartment. Our next trip out to Rome we will definitely stay here. Erwin was so sweet and helpful. He gave us areas to eat and sight see. The area alone was just simply amazing with old world charm. If you are looking for a vacation spot that is not busy from the big city of Rome here is where you should go. Easy walk to the ports for cruise ships. Plenty of spots to eat and all the restaurant's staff are so friendly. Sesta may look a little run down on the out side but that is the old world charm. So lay back and never in a rush to be places. Our room was so comfortable and clean. Erwin text me often to make sure that we needed anything. Please note that Erwin is very prompt so if your going to be there at a certain time he will be there waiting. Help with our bags and had everything we needed such as plugs (we already had ours but good to know when coming out here). They have A/C but in November you really don't need it because the whether here you can sleep with the windows open and get the cool ocean breeze. Very safe to walk around and did I mention the people here are so friendly. You must see the market place when here. And the food is just delious. We gain at least 10 pounds in one week. Amazing food. Otto zero is the perfect bar to have snacks and drinks. The owner Mato was just so sweet and helpful with showing us places to see in smaller towns. If your planning to go on a cruise this is the place to stay or yet a nice get away.

I was a little apprehensive when we entered the building but don’t judge a book by its cover. This was a wonderful cute little guest house. Everything you need, clean, and decor is so cute. Would definitely recommend. You do need to be able to navigate stairs to reach it but it is worth the climb.

Very well kept 300 year old house. Very close to port. 2 important things to remember, you have to contact the host with your arrival time because he has to let you in and if you have mobility issues then this place is not for you. Steps to enter and a narrow spiral steps to get to the king bed. The host was very nice and helpful. Also look for the name sign on door to find the place.
