I was hoping for more since Bally's bought but it's just the same as it was when it was Mont Bleu and Ceasers! Just some new branding. The casino floor is clean but the rest of the common areas of the property is desperate for daily vacumming! The rates are not cheap, and the hotel should keep up with the expecatation that is driven by the rates. The common area next to the starbucks was disgusting when we arrived and even more disgusting the next morning when it hadn't been vacuumed or wiped down. With old cream splatters around the walls its clear the property hasn't had a deep clean in a while. Rooms are nice, they felt pretty clean, great shower, decent beds, could use a better comfortor option for winters in Tahoe. Had a double queen with only two bath towels and a variety of smaller towels. As a guest it feels like the property is "cheaping out" with the towel situation, yet room prices are still hefty, with a resort fee and $15 per night parking (with validation, $18 without). Pool is great for kids (again, old but kept up). We live fairly local and go for staycations a couple of times a year, I would continue to use this property in the winter because of the pool, but definitely will use neighboring, cleaner properties in the summer. Almost forgot the garbage around the entry and icy sidewalks. If they just have a detail oriented person keeping their eye on details like this..it would make a huge difference. The old school lingerie shop in the entry...still
