I arrived at the front desk only to be informed that my reservation was canceled because the credit card used to hold the room was declined. My mistake was that my card had expired between making the reservation and showing up for my trip. Okay, that’s on me but to cancel my whole reservation? Why not just ask me for a different card? This also happened to the guests in front of me. Anyway, I was able to get and pay for another room but at a higher rate. But my check in was stressful and irritating. The room was okay. Clean and quiet (at least after the pool closed and the kids left). So although we had a decent stay I have decided I will not be back.
