I love staying at the shoreham very convenient for me and is very nice environment.

I have been staying in this hotel while my husband Is having Cancer treatment. It is small and quiet and affordable which is what I need. I wish it had a small refrigerator.

Given the pandemic and feelings of uncertainty, I have to say that the hotel was nice. The desk clerk recommended a wonderful restaurant. We were thanked for our stay upon leaving.

Fabulous! Girl at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. I got a complimentary upgrade, room w balcony - very nice. Will stay again! Thank you.

location is great, staff very nice, room was just ok. cable tv service was sketchy and remodel work was very bad.

Staff was absolutely amazing but the condition of the hotel room definitely needed a makeover.

There is some in room privacy with a separation between the sofa bed and the king size bed. The shower has numerous shower heads and is large. The bathroom sink is very small and little to no counter space. The Jacuzzi bathtub did not work. It was very clean. The sofa bed is a very low seating futon. It was less than 6in. from the floor which makes it hard for an older person to stand after sitting or sleeping. It was not uncomfortable to sleep on. It was very quiet and at night very dark. The staff was very helpful and brought up the sheets and extra blankets that I requested very promptly. The staff at the restaurant was very attentive and polite. Breakfast was good. The price was in line with the other places in the area. We were pick pocketed upon leaving the hotel one morning and the homeless were sleeping in the thresholds of businesses but this is not the hotels fault. The trash was not picked up after the sanitary workers went through. The lobby and elevator could have used a sprucing up. I have stayed at worse places for more money so I would recommend the hotel. Just be wary of the neighborhood. Its NYC and spring seems to bring on the criminals instead of the daffodils.

Manager that checked me in was rude and appeared annoyed to help me. Greeted me with a "Yes?" Get to the room to find it is tiny, has a view of a fire escape, everything is run down, towels are scratchy, shower shower valve is reversed so cold is hot, hot is cold. Just an old building. Pictures were way nicer than it really is.

I stayed here for a business trip. Great location and great value!

Hotel is tired and a bit rundown. This is definitely a budget hotel in NYC
