The resort overall was great. the staff all being on the same page would be nice. People were down by the pool reserving all the pool chairs at 6:30am. Staff worked to find spots to add more chairs but it was difficult. They should be better about removing stuff of unoccupied chairs and not allow to reserve for people are evening sitting.

No nos gustó. Hacen bodas todos los dias hasta domingos con musica muy fuerte molestando a los que se hospedan en el hotel. Tambien los que trabajan no miden el ruido y estan gritando y haciendo escandalo afuera de las habitaciones desde las 6am. El hotel no cuenta con suficiente staff entonces nadie te atiende, te hacen esperar minimo 45 minutos en los restaurantes (aunque esten vacios), no hay toallas limpias en las albercas y la comida no esta rica. Smelled like mildew upon arrival and poor service. The transportation company they used are a whole bunch of scammers. The driver purposely dropped us off at the wrong terminal while he had his crew guiding us inside so he could leave. While we were there our electricity went out twice, they gave us the wrong room and forced us to switch at night while my baby was sleeping, both the elevators to go up to our room stopped working, our mini fridge stopped working so we lost the breast milk we had and to top it all off one of the shades wasn’t properly secured, it flew off and landed on my wife and baby. With that said, even if we weren’t so unlucky during this trip, the food was subpar and the beach was gross. I never post reviews of complain either but if I was considering calling my credit card to complain I’m definitely letting others know about the absolute waste of money this place is.

The staff here was so incredible. We had a rough start at the Japanese restaurant. Our food was not good and took hours. Our waiter was awesome but you could tell they were understaffed. The other restaurants were awesome. We really enjoyed Oceana and our waiter Elin gave us the best service. The kids activities were great and the buffet was a hit for our whole family. The only reason I don’t give it a good rating is because the actual ocean water was disgusting. I’m not sure it wasn’t sewage. It smelled horrid and was brown. We walked a few resorts down and it was pretty on both sides so something was definitely off there. But besides that we did really enjoy the resort as a family.

Do not recommend. Staff is highly unprofessional, very confusing about their instructions and misleading. During check in we’ve been asked to remove electronics from the bag and hand them to the receptionist only for them to lose our items and giving us hard time finding them. The hotel is extremely old, I don’t remember the time in other resorts when it was as dirty and stinky as in here. Poor food quality and little to no variety. Beware of fish quality especially. Most of the things are coming from yesterday's leftovers. VIP amenities were good, but not the best. We’ve visited one of their scam-oriented time-share offerings to get two massages and a romantic dinner. Not only the sales pitch was very misleading and a complete fraud, but also the romantic dinner option ($250 value) was of an extremely poor quality. This type of a dinner would cost less in the U.S. Massage was good, but I would never spend $240 that they request for it. Even though those things were provided to us for free, the staff made every possible move to prevent it from being free although being repeatedly promised as being free of charge. Last but not least, our flight got canceled due to the hurricane, and we found a price online to extend our stay but decided that maybe due to the circumstances, the hotel staff would be more accommodating, but they were not. Even though Inline price was 2x of what we paid when initially booked the hotel, the receptionist asked 4x of that value.

Great pool and mini theme park feel for the entire family. Not the best beach but food, entertainment, and pool area were great. Best for people intending to stay at the resort because it will cost money for any outside excursion and activities. I traveled around early October and rain will come and go
