Great place to stop for a few hours. Not a destination spot.

The lady that checked us in was very efficient, dressed nicely, big smile on her face and very helpful I will certainly come back here

8/10 Very good

Front desk lady was excellent. Only issue we have is cleanliness. No reason if you’re paying someone to clean that they don’t sweep and mop the floors. Bottom of our feet was black because of the floor. Price is very good for what you get but NO reason to be dirty except someone not done by their job.

Room was older. Bed was clean. Floor was dirty. Tv remote didn’t work. Just not a room for me

There drugs transactions going on this property, people call for drugs to be delivered and the dealer pull up beside a car where someone is sitting in their car and a transaction is made, it's so obvious one night something bad is going to happen and we all know drug dealers have guns and drama, this place needs security on the property especially at night.
Moses, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Sunken in king mattresses, roaches, dirty fallen off vents, broken door latch.
Timothy, 1-night trip

This is located on edge of downtown and the entire hotel had an iron fence around it. First clue this was not a good choice. When we checked in it was at a window with bullet-proof glass. Clue 2. We did not unpack anything until we inspected the room. Looked ok inside until we say the hole in the bathroom door- looked like someone punched the door in. Immediately left and cancelled the reservation for next day and new room for night.

6/10 Good

The neighbourhood was safe, albeit not pedestrian-friendly (thank City of Hoover for that), hotel was not in the greatest of conditions, but I did feel safe & secure there. Housekeeping definitely needs to step up, as I found a few small things from previous visits, as well as a cockroach as I was packing up to check-out. Showerhead and faucet in the bathroom were very, very loose to the point where I was afraid to give any more than a light touch out of fear they would fall out of the wall. But on the positive side, they did not process a deposit for incidentals, etc. Staff were great, and even stopped by my hotel room to bring me my ID Card, which I failed to retrieve during check-in. There are restaurants and a Publix supermarket nearby, but would be best if you are able to drive, since the City of Hoover apparently doesn't believe in sidewalks or pedestrian crossings.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean and basic.

Filth for sale.

This place is an abject dump. It’s filthy and it’s falling apart. There was someone else’s butt dust on the toilet rim when we got there. It’s grim and should probably be shut down. At $75/night it is probably overpriced by about $70, although the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Stay away.

Place is a dump but ok for one night just to cleanup and sleep. Very old and in rough shape. Right next door to the interstate so loud vehicle traffic.

Difficult to get into parking lot. The room was dark. Floors were dirty. No towels. Hair dryer was broken. Noisy area. Slept with TV on low and it was fine. Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in room.

The property was fine, but expidia is terrible. I am 18 in the military trying to get a hotel and i cant
Samantha, 1-night trip

Older family-run motel but very clean and the room didn’t smell funny like some places do. It had everything we needed for one night.

Conveniently located to the UAB campus and the music venues in that area. It was quiet. Nice tv, but remote wasn't matched up well enough to look at tv guide, etc. Great space for just catching a night's rest.
