The Grand had purchased the hotel, but not all of the hotel had been converted per the photos displayed on the listing. Only a limited number of rooms were available, and none were on the 1st floor or had a king bed, as I had booked. I was told the 1st-floor doors were being painted. The bed only had a sheet and a bolster. The bathroom outlet cover is missing and is exposed. New flooring had been installed. Shower needed repairs. No hot or warm water available in sink or shower. Continental Breakfast was not available but was advertised to be included. All of this info was given at check-in but room had already been booked, paid for and could not cancel. New electronic locks for the doors, but deadbolt did not line up to work.

The room was a disaster.. no pillows no cover only a nasty dirty sheet was available. The shower was disgusting. Had bugs in it and he toilet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since it was put there. By far the worst experience I've ever had staying anywhere. The only reason I stayed was they refused a refund and wouldn't accommodate me in anyway.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.....

This location was absolutely terrible as the location was hard to locate and the signage was not visible anywhere. There was only a sheet on the bed with no top cover. The shower was dirty as well as the floors within the room. I understand that they were doing renovations but, this was not ready to rent as I had to wait 30 minutes or more to even get my room key after checking in.

It was a dump and when I got there the police had people in cuffs for selling meth. The owner is foreign and runs a dump. I didnt stay and got no refund.

False advertising

The pictures that are advertised are taken from when it was originally The Magnuson Hotel. It looks like a beautiful, clean, luxury hotel. Trust me it is NOT. It's ghetto... outside was in disrepair and sketchy and the inside was dirty. There was A LOT I could go into but I won't. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable, the AC worked good, and the shower was nice with hot water and good pressure. It was okay after I bought a blanket, (because they only had a sheet on the bed) and I bought air freshener and cleaning supplies, and insisted they fixed my door so it would shut all the way and latch. But it was a sketchy place to stay, especially for a woman traveling alone.

Room was not clean.I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom.SERVICE was poor quality.Has to ask for toilet paper and didn’t get it till the next day.The photos are not true for the way it looks now.

In need of repairs

Definitly in need of repairs and upgrades. The bed was very comfortable but under the bed looks to have never been cleaned/swept. Need to take the pool out off the location because its a complete mess and disgusting to even look at. The lady at the front desk was the friendliest person though. For the price and only needing a couple hours sleep it wasn't that big of a disappointnent.

They advertise smoking there’s no room I paid for two king size bed and got to twins. You have to move the bed out to plug in your phone or unplugged the TV or refrigerator. They said Continental breakfast and they don’t serve breakfast or coffee

Hotel no recomended

Horrible Experience

The place was under construction, the towels were extremely worn and grey, the bath tub had stains and there was NO toilet paper in bathroom upon arrival. The closet had not been swept out and the sitting chairs were disgustingly stained. Not a good experience!!

Just don't!

I try to be understanding that they are "undergoing" a major renovation, however that seems to be the case for the better part of the last year based on other reviews. No comforters and lots of little crawly roaches. Michelle at the front counter was super duper sweet I believe that they know about the issues and generally don't care because they have a sign on the front desk that clearly states no refunds. We were there for less than 30 minutes.

gRANITE, the place was under renovations, but they should not allow people to stay there until it’s done. They were roaches. I had to clean out the refrigerator before I could put my food in it. There was poop and pee, stains all over the toilet behind it underneath it on the handle of the flush. The tub was black. The sink was black. The room was so smoke filled. I used a whole can of Febreze and it still smelled like smoke I had just driven 12 hours. I was too tired to go get another room and I had no money to get another hotel. I asked for a refund because I had booked two nights. I only wanted one night refunded and I could not get a refund both front desk ladies work very very nice so I cannot condemn that but I cannot get a refund. You cannot have brand new locks from China that are shadly put in and brand new lights on the wall that is going to make this place any better they didn’t even have blankets on the bed. It was just a bottom sheet and a top sheet and one nasty pillow. I had to use my clothes and a T-shirt as a pillow.

Room wasn’t clean even though the Front desk/assistant manager, Lakesiha Brown, called housekeeper to make sure room was ready for check in. She said it was. I walked into a dirty room. Hair was everywhere, floors wasn’t swept, dead roaches in drawer. But Lakesiha was very sweet and understanding when I informed her of my room. She allowed me a later check out. Huge thanks to Lakesiha who not only worked front desk but cleaned rooms in between. Thanks for all your help!
