Nice clean room that was fairly spacious. Received good service from desk staff. Fantastic location. I would stay again and recommend to my friends and family. The small in house fitness center was very good

Great location. Didn’t want to pay valet price but valet guy watched my car while I checked in and took my bag to my room. Then parked at sutter Stockton parking lot for half price. Really cute and quiet hotel in a perfect location for shopping and public transportation . Will definitely come again

this is a renovated "new" hotel in a very old building. It is dark and virtually windowless. There was a stale unpleasant smell in the hallways where the guestrooms are located. The checkin desk is understaffed and super basic. The room was clean. Location is convenient to BART and shopping galore and cable car but also to tourist mobs and homeless crazies. Just ok. Highly overrated. Not such a bargain.

Arrived at the hotel to check in. I was informed that the air conditioner was broken in my room! To fix that, they offered me a fan (which they never brought to the room). This is a very pricey hotel and I paid a high price due to the dates I booked. It shows as highly rated. That is NOT the kind of response you get from a highly rated hotel - so definitely don't trust the ratings for this hotel!! You would think they would even offer a discount for providing a broken room. Nope. Not even that fan. I thought it might have been a problem with the building, but after talking to another person who checked in a couple hours later, they were given a room with a working A/C. Add to this a broken soap dispenser, broken shower faucet, only occasionally replenished the coffee/ tea - you have a low end hotel. It is a quaint hotel in a very nice location of town, but it is certainly not a highly rated hotel at all! Not worth the high price. Many better options around.
