Great location, nothing fancy

The hotel was perfectly clean and has a super central location right next to the main train station. However, there was some trouble with the elevator, which caused some delay while checking in. It could have been handled better.

Last-minute in Bremen

This hotel is “budget” because it’s so close to the chaos and non-coziness that is Bremen Centeal Station. The rooms are v basic but clean and modern. Biggest complaint was having people enter the room to clean twice - at 9 and 10 am respectively- even though our check out time was not until 12pm. When i asked at the reception they acted as though i was strange for finding this disturbing. Otherwise, did the job on a hectic car trip and last-minute booking. Bremen is beautiful and full of character and if you don’t mind being on the outer edge of that because it’s cheap and simple, this is the hotel for you.

Bad check in but good stay. Central and clean

Well. The hotel itself is fine but the staff and check in was horrible. I showed up at 02.20 at night. They didn't let me in even though I had a booking confirmed and paid for. They said it didn't show up in the system. When I asked they said it's not their problem. So we waited for about an hour. Then luckily hotels staff answered (extra charges call to UK) then apparently it seems they had wrong email. So all in all good stay but bad check in experience. No apologies or anything like that. I will definitely try another hotel next time. A big disappointment when you are on travel and tired at night

Case study in how to alienate guests. Panhandlers at the entrance, 6th flloor lobby, confusing triangle hallways with elevator signs marked pointing the wrong direction. Booked a room with double and twin bed, upon arrival was given a single twin. Trekked back up to reception, was told that since I was alone, I could only get one bed. Seriously. I have never before been asked to justify wanting or needing a bigger hotel room (and I had already paid for it). Reception said the hotel was full, but finally gave me a new room, which turned out to have just a double bed, and more cramped than the first. Not even room for a chair or side table, just the double bed. No tea kettle or coffee machine. Although appearing new, room had foul smell. Dismal view from window of cement courtyard and other side of hotel, so drapes need to be drawn. The street facing rooms looked much cheerier, but good luck getting the hotel to honor your room request for them. Passed a very uncomfortable night, hallway noise during the night, no coffee in the morning so had to go up to their overpriced continental breakfast (which is at least in a bright and cheerful room- but if you need to go back to you room for anything, you can't re-enter without paying for another ticket for the turnstyle. )This hotel is simply not designed or run with hospitality in mind. One positive- they will hold your luggage for you.

Great overnight in Bremen

Cheep and very cheerful basic rooms but very modern, clean and functional. Beds comfortable. Hotel very centrally located. Didn't have their breakfast, instead when to the trendy takeaway coffee outlet on the corner which was much cheeper and very good

This is a fairly new hotel and is a 'Budget Ibis' so it is basic, but it was clean and the receptionists helpful and polite. We didn't try the hotel restaurant as we found an equally new cafe approx 40 metres away that was equally basic but great for breakfast. The hotel is literally opposite the train station and tram stops and within walking distance of the main shopping area.
