We were in town for the weekend, as were thousands of others. There was an O's series vs NY, a concert at the arena, a festival, and people already in town for the Ravens game on Monday. When we arrived just after 4pm, there was a line of literally 100 people waiting to check in. When I finally got up to the desk, I was told the type of room I reserved wasn't ready yet. I was asked if I would take another type, which I reluctantly did, mainly due to standing in line for an hour. The hotel had to know they were going to be booked, so to only have 1 elevator working (out of 4) made for a lot of unhappy guests. Most of our time spent in the hotel was waiting for a chance to get on this 1 elevator when it wasn't jammed with others. We went to our event and returned Sat. night. We knew the elevator situation, so decided to climb the stairs to our 8th floor room. Once we got to that floor, we scanned our room key to enter the hotel but it didn't open the door. You could hear the lock mechanism working, but I believe the door handle was broken. One of us went down to try the 7th floor door, we were able to get in there. Then it was a walk to another stairway to get back up to our floor. The room itself was clean and nice. I will likely not stay here again, however, just based on how seemingly unprepared the hotel was to handle a hotel full of guests.
