It is conveniently located. Also the Townhouse diner (across the parking lot but not affiliated with the hotel) is very good. Otherwise the hotel is not much to write home about. The hotel needs some work. It’s not the worst place in town, but not the best. It’s an ok value for the money. As long as they keep the price reasonably low, I’m OK that it’s a mediocre hotel.

Ok for the night
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was subpar but free so can’t complain other than about the rotting fruit they put out. Overall, it was quiet and a decent place for the night. We took an Uber for under $20 to get into New Haven for a concert.

Lack of professional supervision
I stayed here for an emergency night, needed a place to sleep. Wen I arrived late night to check in , the front desk had to charge me for another room and told me to speak with the manger in the morning. When I woke up and tried to, manager was out. I have been calling weekly manager never there and never returns my messages. Poor customer service.

Disappointing stay
Condition of hotel was bad. The bed did appear clean and was comfy we did sleep well but otherwise everything was a little gross. Breakfast was ok your average fair. The staff were indifferent I spent an unfair amount of time waiting for someone to appear from the back to check in and they had a phone glued to their ear the whole time. To sum up if you just need somewhere to sleep go for it but check out your options first,
