I booked room on hotels.com, a double queen bc there were 3 of us. And I was honest and told them we had a dog when we got there. BUT the gal said all the dog rooms were taken and she couldn’t refund/cancel room so we could go elsewhere. Instead she ended up finding us a room but when we got up there, it was a handicap room w 1 queen bed! 1 bed!! So i called her and told her we need 2 beds. It was 930pm so I was already thinking what a hassle it would be to move hotels. So she she said I can see if there’s a cot. Well there was, and it was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on! So we ended up payIng $200 for the night and it was the most god awful experience. The hotel should specify on hotels.com if there are no rooms available where pets are allowed if they want people to be honest. Makes me want to say “no pets” just so I can have a good nights sleep and get what I actually paid for! And there was no free breakfast like the hotel amenities said. Will never stay here again. In fact, I think I should be refunded for my stay.
