The woman at the front desk was so sweet and friendly. There was an issue with my credit card and my reservation was canceled by hotels.com but the hotel staff was very helpful and easily reinstated it for me. The room was very clean and smelled like fresh laundry. We'll definitely stay here again if we need a hotel in the area. There was confusion about the location due to a recent rebrand and another hotel with the same name in the area, this hotel is at 8300 Jamaican Ct but when I clicked the map for directions it took me to the other one on Visitors Cir, luckily they're not far from each other so I didn't drive too far out of my way. Hopefully hotels.com will correct this on their site.

We enjoyed our stay at Sonohotel. Room is renovated, huge and clean. Staff is very helpful. Walking distance to Icon Park. Lot of places to eat in the area. Hotel is under renovation so expect work around the place.

Excellent Room, Helpful Staff

The room we stayed in was excellent – no carpet and a glass shower box, which is a nice touch compared to many hotels in the U.S. Our stay overall was great, and the front desk staff were always very helpful and polite. On the downside, room cleaning has to be requested (it’s not done daily), and the service could be improved. Also, the rest of the hotel is in need of renovation.

This place is great if you're on a budget. We were lucky to get a room with a renovated bathroom. Room was generally clean except for the slightly dirty lamp covers. Pool looked cleaned and was spacious. I chose to avoid the breakfast based on other reviews so I can't comment on that. There was an IHOP nearby we went to.

This will probably be a great hotel. But right now one of the wings where we stayed is under reconstruction which makes it unlivable during the day hours. So if you need to be at the hotel at any time from 8am to 5pm this is not the place for you. If you are visiting the parks during daytime it is a fine place for the price.

I was highly disappointed when I checked in and after having prepaid in full for all taxes and fees, according to Hotels.com, was charged an additional $47.96 stating it was a resort fee. I had no service. No breakfast was provided. When you check your account for the charge, you see no affiliation with the hotel name or Hotel.com. I was assigned to the motel side, in the back facing the parked cars and highway, no resort. Insulting!!!!

Great location for a great price

Great hotel located within 5-10 minutes walk from many restaurants and bars. The bus stops just outside the hotel on International Drive and will take you where you wanna go. The hotel is being renovated, so there are a little noise during daytime - but nothing too bad. Great pool area and I do hope they will consider opening a small pool side bar when they are finished with the renovation. The rooms are nice and big with new bathrooms/showers. This is our second visit under the new owners and we also got the same room as we had last time (upon request). We can highly recommend this hotel!

I know that the hotel is going through a renovation, It has new bathrooms, that was the only thing nice about the room, but the room was smelly, in the bed was a silverfish, the air conditioner does not cool, the fire alarm was hanging out from the ceiling. Good things, the lady that did my check in was very nice, the bathroom, and the location. The rest was awful, a total nightmare.
