NOT for family trips, NOT kids-friendly
This is NOT a kids-friendly hotel. I don’t know why it is promoted as kid-friendly (maybe because it has a few kid-themed rooms). I have put in remarks that I have a two-year old, and asked for a crib. First, they only provide me with breakfast on the executive club lounge or sth, but they do not allow kids under 12 years old into the lounge, which means my kid did NOT get breakfast for the whole stay. Second, I asked the front desk to see if they can put me for breakfast at the ground floor lounge instead. They refused, and asked me and my husband to take turns to have breakfast at club lounge, and one can stay in the room to look after my child, which is ridiculous. Why should i have breakfast alone when I am on family vacation? And this does not resolve the problem, my child didn’t get breakfast no matter what, but I have already paid for it in my room rate. They should not accept my booking if that’s the case, as I already indicated i have a toddler. So we all end up not eating breakfast at the hotel at all. Third, you have to pay for a crib, which is fine, but it is a very old and basic crib which looks like a laundry trolley.
The hotel is renovated but you can feel that the inside is quite worn out. The front desk is not very helpful. The hesitation in helping us call our local driver when we checked out just adds on our dissatisfaction in the hotel and service.
