We will come back!
We loved our stay at the Viandina. We needed a clean, welcoming place for two nights in Aguascalientes and we found it in Viandina. They met us at the train station, answered alot of questions regarding Machu Picchu, and were very welcoming. They had arranged for a guide for us and when the guide agency did a “bait and switch”, they didn’t charge us for the guide. Warm breakfast, clean room, friendly service. Loved it!

8/10 Very Good

Location was great, short walk to thermal baths and waterfall. Close to train station and everything else. Staff was very helpful. Great breakfast and massage services on site which were very helpful for our tired bodies! The room was clean and comfortable and a great value. Water in shower was not as hot as I like it but it was comfortable, so we adapted and didn’t let the is minor thing overshadow the good things.

Cute little hotel/guest house approximately 8 min walk from the train station uphill on the street with multiple restaurants and souvenir shops. Just a 3-min walk to the entrance of the Thermal Baths. The room was kind of small but very clean and well-maintained. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast was okay the first morning (bread, jelly, cereals, lunch meat and cheese, coffee), better the second morning (we were also offered fried eggs). Hot water in the shower was inconsistent. Generally we loved our stay and would recommend!

Super friendly and accomodating.
A bit of an uphill walk but everything is in Aguas Calientes. Easy check-in, very accommodating and friendly. Made us lunches since we were heading out for Machu Picchu at 5am. Offered to hold our luggage when we got back and even offered for us to hang out in the lounge while we rested inside from the rain before heading to our train back to Cusco.
