Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well maintained, offers dinner and early breakfast, and has massage therapists available for coming off of those long international flights. As a female traveling alone I felt safe and comfortable during my overnight stay."
"The hotel customer service was excellent. It included utilizing their trolley to carry our luggage to the cruise terminal at the end of the stay. The breakfast was good, try ordering the omelet. Well situated in the V&A neighborhood. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from. We used their transfer service from the airport and it was flawless."
"We enjoyed our stay. Very helpful staff. Front desk and doormen were great. Primrose and Felicia in the restaurant were always so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Good location. A bit too far to walk to V&A Waterfront. Close Uber ride to the cruise port. Clean and comfortable room. No complaints at all. I’d stay there again."
"The hotel is handy although you need to uber to most places . The breakfast is delicious and rooms very comfy. If you’re cruising you will need an uber to get your luggage to the hotel."
"Everything was wonderful! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Italian restaurant was fantastic—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend taking some time to walk through the gardens. You may even spot a tortoise or two along the way! The drinks at the bar were delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the property was relaxing and welcoming. It’s a truly beautiful hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! 😊"
"We enjoyed staying over, as our flight was very early the next day. I was impressed with the room, as everything was clean. Thank you, and next time we will stay over again!"
"Can't say enough about this remodeled hotel. The staff were just amazing and friendly from the maid staff, restaurant workers, bellmen, and the reception desk team. Our room was very quiet even though it was right along the canal. The breakfast options were great from continental, to hot/cold buffet, to order ala carte. The location is easy and safe to get to the main wharf with 2 different walking options (1 included no stairs) that take 10-20 minutes depending on where you want to go. Parking was free and simple, but with the wharf so close we didn't have to drive, find parking, and pay for parking there. We even boarded the hop on/hop off canal boat tour right at the hotel. We loved the hotel so much that we extended our original 4 night stay an additional 5 nights. We would stay here again."
