Nice place for a short stay

A great location!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but not suitable for the disabled- we had to climb up 63 stairs to get to our room. And it was an excellent location - central but not too touristy with lots of reasonable and friendly bars, shops and restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed our stay in our private room at this hostel. Everything was clean, the room very spacious and we even had a great view from our window to the river Tejo. Location was good as all mayor sights could be reached within walking distance. We would stay there again 👍

Excellent price for the conveniences
All the services was excellent and the staff was great!

8/10 Very good

We had a lovely stay with an amazing view of the downtown. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because there was a reall weird smell in our room like an auto shop that gave us headaches other than that. It’s a cute little hostel

Staff very nice. Rooms are clean. Good price and coffee is nearby!

2/10 Poor

We were in 3 different rooms at this place. The other two were good, this second one was terrible. Noisy, door to floor 2feet from my head, clicked loudly late into the night, then started up early again. Fan didn’t work. No place to put luggage or maneuver around beds.
Kathleen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good for the price. Clean & cozy.
Vanessa, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This hotel has a very poor sound insulation. We heard the doors slamming in the corridors and the neighbors in the rooms next door and above.
Marie-Christine, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nice place. Very confortable. A little small rooms but great service and security. But they only have 1 bathroom for 10 rooms and you cant use the bathrooms for the other floors. So you have to be patient.
Sabrina, 5-night trip

6/10 Good

Cheap nice rooms, but the bathroom not really clean and the staff not polite at all.
Valentin, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We stayed here 4 nights, in 3 different rooms as we decided to extend our stay in Lisbon after the first 2 nights were booked. The rooms for the first 2 nights and last night were nice. The room for the 3rd night was horrible. It should NEVER be rented out. There was virtually no space to maneuver around the beds, or put your suitcases. The fan didn’t work. It was noisy with the window open. It was next door to the door to get into the rooms on that floor and we heard every person coming in or leaving that entire night. Walls were also paper thin. That night put a damper on the other 3 nights. If you don’t get that room, the others were okay for the price and area.

Its a good value for money hostel but could be better! The condition of the property need upgrade! Great view though from the second floor double room.
4-night trip

8/10 Very good

The booking was confirmed on a 2nd floor, i got a 3rd floor, all switches dirty actually black, bed horrible mattress, there was a alarm ringing at 04 am on first night, and toilet cleaning very bad specially in the shower. Mean time I have lung emphysema and I complain about the floor as confirmation was to a 2nd floor they said that wasn’t for us chose the floor even if of the booking wouldn’t show that you were going to stay on a 3rd. So yes mainly was very bad
Marina, 5-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean room but problematic check-in
Clean room but be careful at check-in as staff use their mobile phone to take photos of your ID without your consent. I was informed this is because there is not enough staff at the reception to handle the check-in, and the photos get sent by email and registered at a later time. This is not permitted in Portugal for obvious reasons. (See Associação de Hotelaria de Portugal, Informação jurídica.) If you care about your personal data it's better to ask staff to write down the data they're required to register at check-in.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The person at the front desk was very kind and is there 24 hours, which was nice because we got in at 3 am. We were very thirsty when we arrived and they didn’t have water to offer as the kitchen was under construction. There aren’t any amenities beyond the room and bathroom. The room didn’t seem like it was super clean, I’m not sure if it is because of the cleanliness or how old it is. The shower always had hot water so that was good.
4-night trip

6/10 Good

The property is well located and walkable around good attractions and those are the only positive points, I can come up with. The property needs refurbishment and a better soundproofing. Some staff there have bad manners and are not helpful at all. It's a very noisy place to stay at and some floors there have residents that seems don't like the guests from the hostel. The hostel wants cash only as a form of payment and I was wondering if that form has to do with taxes. It's strange once these days people mostly carry cards. Overall my experience wasn't good so I don't recommend the hostel.
Walleria, 13-night trip

6/10 Good

I was asked to pay up front in cash. Not having enough cash on me, I asked where the nearest ATM was, and the woman working the desk said she didn't know. After a long journey, the last thing I wanted to do was hunt for an ATM on foot. I pointed out she had a credit card reader on her desk. She covered it up with a magazine and said, "Nãoooo!" Our stare-down ended in me hunting for an ATM. When I finally paid, I asked for a receipt and she told me to ask for one after 11pm or around 2pm the next day. I never got a receipt. Also, the internet connection and the shower were terrible.
