The hotel is not too far from the central areas of Hai Phong. It's a new hotel, and has 2 floors dedicated as a wedding hall. The staff were friendly and spoke a little English. The room was sparkling clean and white, everything is new. Nice big LG TV if you're into flipping around. Didn't use the kitchenette, but it came with all pots and pans if I needed it. Bathroom was clean and new, shower was hot and water pressure very high.
My few gripes with the place:
I'm 6 feet tall, and the bed is comfy and big but not long enough. My feet hung off the bottom end while my head was all the way up against the headboard. I had to sleep a little diagonally so my feet didn't dangle off the bottom.
I stayed 2 nights, and would come back to the hotel after 12am. The hotel closed the gate so vehicles couldn't drive up to the hotel or to the parking area. There's no walking gate for pedestrians, or a bell to ring staff to let me in. There's a security shack right there, and both times the guard was sleeping and I kept yelling to him but he never woke up. I finally just climbed between the fence and a tree and walked up to the guard to open the gate so I could park my scooter.
There's not much around the hotel. Finding a taxi may be difficult in the evenings, not sure. You'll need to venture into the central area to find all the cool stuff. Not far, only 5 to 10 minutes scooter ride.
All in all, I'd stay there again if I had to. ^^
