They are the nicest people on the planet. Good breakfast and very hospitable people. Will definitely visit again if in the area. A real gem in the heart of the city. Room was ample and spotless. Staff was super friendly. Parking was right close to the door. And it was quiet. We loved it and its close to Dambulla caves hardly 850 meters and close to all the shops within walking distance. The next street over is the main street with restaurants and shopping center with a supermarket to get all your essentials...

Good value.
Lak View represented good value. The room was basic but sufficient. The only drawback was that there was no restaurant within easy walking distance. However, our delightful host Roshan doubles up as a Tuk Tuk driver so was very happy to drop off and collect into town for a meal. If you want an establishment that serves alcohol then please just ask Roshan as not that many eatery’s in Sri Lanka have a license. The breakfast was basic but filling and was charged in addition as were the Tuk Tuk rides but all very reasonable. All in all very happy.

部屋数三室の小さなゲストハウスで、スタッフはホスピタリティがあり、リーズナブルな割に心地よい宿泊ができます。普段、私は中級ホテルに泊まるのですが、今回空きがなくて仕方なく安めのホテルを予約しました。結果はいい意味で裏切られて、満足でした。 ファシリティは比較的新しめで問題なし。虫は少し出ますが、蚊は蚊帳があるので対策できます。ひとつ、難点はシャワーです。お湯が一応でるものの、温度調整が難しいので、気温の暖かいうちに水で浴びてしまったほうがよいでしょう。Wifiも部屋で使用でき、普通にネットで調べ物をする程度に使う分には問題ありません。 朝食、夕食は前もって注文しておけば用意してくれますし、食事時間も融通を利かせてくれます。ボリュームは非常に多く、食べきれないほどです。私の宿泊した時は朝食も夕食も同じ値段で、一食４５０ルピーでした。

Hotellet ligger lidt langt fra byen men det gjorde ikke så meget da der ikke er meget by og der var billig tuktuk service fra hotellet. Alt i alt fantastisk god service og sindsygt godt tilbud til prisen.

No respetan las reservas
Llegamos habiendo reservado y pagado con tres semanas de antelación. 4 días antes nos envió un mail que para una de las noches estaba completo. Aquí el wifi no va del todo bien, y teniendo todo confirmado tampoco existe la necesidad de estar pendiente, así que no lo vimos. Nunca nos había pasado. Además como ellos no pueden cancelar la reserva nos pedían que la cancelaramos nosotras para poder recuperar el dinero. Finalmente y tras pedírselo ( el solo nos decía que ya nos había avisado) nos consiguió otro alojamiento.
