Aberdeen was charming and very walkable. I would suggest a walk along the waterfront. Beautiful scenery, people were friendly, and there was a lot of food options.

There are a lot of interesting place near the hotel to visit. I would suggest the Maritime Museum and the art museum as starters. The art museum has a roof top cafe and great coffee. There is some stunning architecture There are numerous shops nearby

Aberdeen was smaller than I thought, so it was a little more difficult to get a taxi/ride about town. But we ended up taking the bus and it wasn't bad. The beach was absolutely wonderful with lots of friendly dogs and fun shells and sea glass.

Limited fine dining and choice of independent 'quality' restaurants, mostly chain and/or average Italian restaurants in the central area. Few bars with outside seating or to enjoy alfresco dining.

I know Aberdeen very well. It is a small city which is fairly safe compared to other cities. It's cold bring a jumper and a big jacket and gloves and don't moan about the cold !

It's a nice place to visit as there's so much to see in and around the city eg beaches, hotels, scenic attractions including Dunnottar Castle in Stonehaven.
"The room is totally updated and huge. We had to use an oscillating fan to sleep because these old, historic hotels don’t have the infrastructure for air handling and the duvet/no separate top sheet made it warm. Gorgeous room. "
"This is a really nice hotel - very well-laid out with good parking and access. Within the lobby area are various games and activities which help to occupy younger guests. The staff are very friendly and supportive and overall the atmosphere is great. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very tidy. We had an issue with disturbance from another guest’s room which, once flagged, was fairly dealt with by the hotel team. We make periodic trips to Aberdeen and will continue to visit this hotel when doing so. "
"We were at a wedding at another hotel so it was a late check in the night staff were absolutely brilliant couldn’t help us anymore
Breakfast was superb definitely stay again "
"The reception staffs are friendly especially Susan who is very welcoming. The room is clean and spacious. All the staffs are very welcoming. The hotel is located in a very good location not far from the wedding venue. Good value for money."
