Nice clean hotel with decent pool.
We had a short stay in Phnonh Penh and the Sim Boutique was well located for local markets and resteraunts. Clean and modern but let down a little by its single lift with capacity for only 8 people. Twice it stopped with only 7 people in it and signalled overweight and none of us were large! Aircon had a mind of its own and struggled to keep the room to a reasonable temperature. Breakfast was okay but staff slow to replenish sometimes, even when asked. Good pool with a great view.

Please think twice about staying at this hotel. The room was perfectly ok, however, the breakfast was mediocre. You cannot buy food or anything to drink at the pool until 3pm. There are no pool towels. The worst part however, was when we tried to check out. First, they accused us of having stolen a face towel, which I subsequently found wrapped up in another towel. They also demanded payment because my daughter had cut her foot and a little blood had got on the sheets. They also charged us for the fact that the missing face cloth was dirty because it had been used to clean make up off a face…. In the end they told us we could not leave until we had paid $15 for washing the face towel and the sheet. You will also be charged $100 if you loose a second key. Nothing ‘boutique’ about this hotel.
