This was our first time on this side of England and it was an excellent choice. Not only do you have access to Torquay but the close towns of Paignton and Brixham and access to the steam train to get to Dartmouth added that extra fun to our time.

Torquay has a marina, theatre, boat trips, lovely park along the waters edge, shops eateries and other things to do. Lots of nice beaches nearby, but parking expensive. It is vibrant in the evening. The roadworks in the centre and empty shops not good.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Kent's Caverns. The tour was excellent and there was a lot to lear about the history of the area. If you are going in the summer then Paignton Zoo as well. We went in winter so most of the animals went around to see.

Love Torquay as a base to visit the Devon coast which we have enjoyed on many occasions. On this particular occasion it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary treat and although the weather wasn't particularly good we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lots of work being done which makes for traffic congestion. It will be exciting when the work is completed. Enjoyed the museum, and Agatha Christie references around the place. Lots to enjoy.

Great breakfast at Hoopers and a fantastic meal at No.7 fish restaurant. Lovely day trip to Dartmouth (via the higher ferry) and also a great day in Exeter by train from Torquay.

It's improving, it was better than I expected. A lot of investment is being made. We had a lovely meal at a local Italian restaurant, Amichi.

Beautiful area. Excellent local fish and chips. Steer clear of the Harvester...awful frozen food locally sourced from Iceland.
"The staff was excellent very friendy and keen to help
Would like to see this hotel offering breakfast an maybe an evening bar as the views are stunning "
"We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel and were impressed with the facilities and friendly staff. We returned for the 2nd time having also enjoyed our first stay. Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities."
"Was a last minute booking
Staff very friendly
Room was lovely so so clean
Robes slippers in room
Milk in fridge
Bathroom amazing
Really was everything we needed "
"Check in was quick and easy. Room was sooooo hot due to all glass fronted room which had been in direct sunlight all day with the curtains open. Asked for another room which was provided without fuss.
5 min walk (max) to beach & bars, harbour & marina about 10 mins away."
"Really lovely hotel with great views. Breakfast a real treat. Rooms are a very generous size and a sea view is beautiful. Don’t like the policy of authorising £150 on your bank card on check in. Not released for 5 to 10 days is not acceptable."
