Pool was beautiful and so crystal clean. Service at every bar and restaurant had excellent staff. Check in was a breeze. Just a beautiful room! I appreciated that the names of the rooms advertised and pictures were true to fact. Loved the place and would return.

Old world charm with new world amenities. Service was top notch from check-in to check-out. Shops, site seeing and restaurants are all a short walk away. The roof top bar is cozy with a great view of the plaza. Pools were clean and servers were readily available to bring us drinks.

Best hotel in Tequila Mexico!
The Hotel Solar de las Ánimas is absolutely the best hotel in Tequila Mexico. The hotel overlooks the famous town square where the Tequila sign and church is located and a two minute walk to several tequila distilleries including Jose Cuevo. The hotel is so beautiful with several restaurants to choose from, a sauna, massage room, gym and even a library. We stayed in room 305 which is a spacious room with a comfortable king size bed, large bathroom with a great shower, small balcony overlooking the pool, mini fridge, in room safe and a Nespresso coffee machine. The WiFi is wonderful and the air conditioner was nice and comfortable. The room has colonial style furniture and nice touches of luxury. The hotel has a big pool that sits in a Lucious courtyard and another smaller pool at the sky bar on the roof which was fabulous! The view from the sky bar was incredible and the young men behind the bar provided exceptional service! There are cheaper hotels in Tequila but this is the best hotel by far. We plan on returning soon!
