Beautiful stay
Beautiful accommodation! We only stayed one night but it was just lovely. Rooms were well equipped, amazing location and highly recommend the wine bar.

Thought the bathroom was a cupboard, hilariously small. However room was large, nice layout and very comfortable bed.

6/10 Good

Room was small, nowhere to place luggage other than on the floor. Bathroom was far too tiny to make it comfortable to use. We were woken in the early hours on two occasions on Saturday night by noisy other guests.

lf you like oldey worldy properties you will love Allawah. I have stayed there twice now for more than one night each time. It is a well cared for heritage property and beautifully located in Bendigo. I really like the history embedded in the property and the staff are most helpful. You will not want for anything.

There was no table or chairs to sit to have breakfast or a meal despite having a kitchenette area. The television was mounted in a position that made it impracticable to watch.

REALLY pleased I chose this accomodation as it was SO central to Everything. Parking on premises is a matter of luck. I stayed there on a week night so I dont know how quiet it is over a weekend with a courtyard seating area right outside your window. The "Wine Bank" on premises has a lovely atmosphere and a HUGE sekection of wines! If I come to Bendigo again I'll definitely stay here and would recommend it to anyone else.

Gorgeous old property, large upstairs room, stairs were a little tricky but not unmanageable, one of the MOST comfortable beds we’ve enjoyed in a hotel, bar staff/reception staff a little aloof but kitchen staff so friendly and helpful, room had been warmed for our arrival, we were surprised to find many ants in the bathroom and kitchen but truly, our overnight stay was comfortable, quiet and just what we needed after a long drive from Sydney

Location fantastic. Maisonette only had one chair for a 2 adult room. Lighting was poor and limited what you could do. One blind couldn't close which hindered privacy. Due to long week end, arrangements were made to let ourselves in which worked well. There was limited car parking so we left our car parked while we were there to avoid losing our parking spot and got around on foot.

Lovely spot for a getaway
Nice little hotel in great location in the centre of town. Parking provided but used wine bar customers late afternoon onwards, so park early or struggle in surrounding streets

Beautiful little place. Rooms are small and quaint but perfect for an overnight stay. The reason for only 4 stars was the bed. It was a bit too hard but everything was super clean and the bed was made well.

A very convenient central place for a short stay in Bendigo. The room was clean and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchenette and small bathroom. The attached wine bar is very pleasant, too.

4/10 Fair

Strange place, hard to find. A small room and the tiny bathroom was difficult to use. It was Sunday and sadly the adjoining wine bar was closed as were most of the Bendigo restaurants.Grey decor and no wardrobe space. The only plus was the location and an easy walk to the city. Ok for a budget one night stay.

We Loved the quaintness of the property and sitting on the balcony. The bathroom is tiny and car parking is tight, but the staff and the cleanliness of the room were excellent. We would stay here again.
