Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"We, a mid-aged couple, stayed at this property for one night in August 2026. The staff were wonderful: helpful, polite, efficient, and readily available! We appreciated the free airport shuttle. There was a schedule and the driver seemed to try to adhere to it but the traffic and the summer busy airport caused us to wait about 1/2 hour at the airport for the shuttle. For the way back to the airport we signed up for the shuttle with the front desk staff. The shuttle came about 10 minutes after the schedule time. The front desk staff was kind enough to pop outside to let us know that the driver was on his way and we sure appreciated that! There was a stop at another hotel before we were dropped at the airport. The hotel room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Our room was a bit dated so there were a few permanent stain on the rug and walls but the staff obviously did their best to ensure it was as clean as possible (bathroom was shiny, vacuumed well...). It was very quiet at night. We were able to walk in about 10 minutes to the Canada Line station. Along the way there was a huge mall with a food court. There were also multiple Asian restaurants very near this hotel although we didn't have time to try any. The neighbourhood seemed safe and quite walkable to us. The hotel lobby was comfortable and there was a little restaurant (various hours/breakfast buffet/we did not eat at it). We were able to store our luggage until our room was ready."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, including shopping, dining, family-friendly spots, temples, river views, business centres, gardens, and picturesque sunsets. This affordable adventure in Richmond is perfect for those looking to explore on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals in Richmond, simply visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To maximise your savings, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications for updates on flash sales and exclusive promotions. Additionally, Smart Shopping is a useful tool available via the app, allowing you to compare hotel prices and amenities easily. This way, you'll be informed of any price drops or new room availability, making it easier to secure a getaway with flexible cancellation fees.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Richmond hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised atmosphere and, at times, offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre generally command a higher price, but thanks to Richmond's excellent public transport links, you might be able to secure an independent hotel further afield that is still well connected and more likely to be affordable. For those interested in exploring alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even smaller, lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
