Needs a lot of work
Avoid this hotel! Seems to be a good deal until you realise that it has loads of facilities advertised which are missing...For example no gym, indoor pool, evening entertainment, poolside bar, etc.... Might be good in 2 years time when they finish renovating this hotel, but currently it's just about a 2 star hotel and should never be advertised as 4 star Spanish. Food is ok as long as you get there early and pool is nice apart from the building work going on. The water is heated so that was a nice surprise. Rooms are very basic and small. If there was a way to get a refund for half of the money I spent on this dump, I would. Avoid!

I would not recomended
The only good thing about that hotel is large swimming pool. Food was horrible, we were waiting to get eggs 15 min or longer every morning. Staff very slowly and unpleasant, cleaner didn`t want give us extra towels!!! A lot of russian people in a hotel and I think that`s hotel is just for them.

Worst hotel ever
The worst hotel I have ever visited. Hostile staff, unfriendly, caos at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The worst was the lifeguard at the pool, he was angry and upset on all of the guests. I asked him to be polite and he said no, he was there to do his job and not to be polite.. We complained at the frontdesk, but they allready knew that he was hostile... Breakfast was served between 8-9:30, when the staff got there in time. (One morning they served about 30 minutes late, without any explenation) I will never set my foot there again, and we meet some other guests that said the same.

nice dinner and smiley, helpful f&b staff, good room attendants, good entertainment for kids. Quality of the bed needs to be improved. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much just the only shame is if you want to fill the hotel with guests you cannot choose your customers. really annoying that young school teenagers who cannot behave are very loud, noisy and impolite, just thinking about themselves and disturbing other guests/ families with small children at night. Management or reception staff could pay more attention to inform the groups upon arrival that at night they must be quiet.

Back to basics
We booked last minute. The price was low so our expectations were not high. However on arrival reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Questions we had were answered grudgingly in very broken English, the place was only geared towards Germans as far as we could make out. The rooms were basic but fine, we had a lovely view of the pool and it was cleaned daily with towels changed daily (housekeeping were v friendly and accommodating). The 2 main issues I had was that parking is €45 per week and that is not stated on website. The garage is under the hotel but is not connected so it is a block away to get there. Also wifi is available in public areas but there is a charge for that also, again it is suggested that this is a free service. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here as there is a wide variety of much nicer hotels in the area and closer to the beach and centre for approx same money. 

bel hôtel à 10 mn de la plage mais en travaux !!!
habitué de l'hotel (anciennement selva mar) depuis les années 90 , j'ai voulu voir ce que ça donnait avec le groupe marina sand. je ne vous cacherai pas que je suis un peu déçu car je souhaitais retrouver toutes les prestations (SPA , salle de sport piscine intérieure etc...) que je connaissais déjà , et qui étaient annoncées dans l'offre de réservation pour cet hôtel. à notre grand désespoir nous n'avons rien eu de tout cela car cette partie de l'établissement était fermée pour cause de travaux d'amélioration. (espérons que ce soit pour notre plus grand bien lors d'un possible futur voyage). je ne sais pas qui de l’hôtel ou d'expédia à omis de signaler ce "petit " détail. en outre , les points forts de cet hôtel étaient les activités diurnes et les spectacles nocturnes , ou nous aimions nous retrouver autour d'un verre avec mes enfants et amis en regardant et parfois participant aux divers spectacles qui nous étaient proposés et en regardant nos petits enfants qui "s'éclataient comme des petits fous avec l'aide des animateurs. aujourd'hui il n'en reste quasiment plus rien. juste une dame très gentille avec une toute petite sono (et quand je dis petite , elle est vraiment petite) qu’elle doit mettre en sourdine dès 23 h , et ce après l'intervention de la police le soir du 28 août , alors que le nombre de décibels étaient vraiment pas très élevés. aussi j'ai coché que je recommanderais cet hôtel à un ami mais seulement si tout cela rentrait dans l'ordre.

personnel d'accueil et responsable très agréable
hôtel dur à trouver, parking très élevé 20€ au lieu de 11€ et très sale , au repas en demi pension on nous propose pas de boisson même l'eau est payante cela nous à vraiment très choqué car l'eau lors d'un repas est obligatoire, toutes les activités sportive étaient annulées pour cause de rénovation, hôtel très vieillissant, chambre très petite pour deux correct mais pour trois trop petite, la clim est très limite et manque un petit bar dans la chambre. Par contre la télé est impeccable, le ménage correctement fait, la piscine est grande mais manque de règles (bateau, bouée, matelas gonflable...cela prend trop de place, d'accord pour les enfants mais pour les adultes cela reste vraiment trop), le club enfants les adultes sont également autorisé et cela est vraiment pas bien pour les enfants qui de ce fait ne peuvent plus jouer ( water-polo ). Pour finir je dirai ce qui nous a vraiment déçu c'est au niveau de la restauration concernant la cruche d'eau qui nous était refusée et cela à choqué énormément de gens et aussi un peu déçu jamais proposé de paella...

Alleen baliepersoneel was vriendelijk. Rest van het personeel zowel aan de buitenbar als in de eetzaal incl. de kok was vaak chagrijnig. Veel achterstallig onderhoud aan het hele hotel en zwembad niet echt hygiënisch.

hotel viellissant à renover completement
juste la piscine et l'emplacement de l’hôtel, qui a un fort potentiel qui dispose d'une salle de muscu, d'un squash d'un spa mais complétement délaissé et le personnel pas très agréable a part les femmes de ménage et les animateurs, les consommations du bar sont chers les animations très banales et rébarbatives et le pire de tout : la cantine et la nourriture pas de fromage, des soirs ou il n'y avait rien au buffet juste les restes de la veille surtout en crudités ! sinon des plats qui sont servis juste pour les premiers arrivants ! dans l'ensemble nous avons passe une bonne semaine mais pas du au prestation de l'hotel.

A déconseiller si on veut bien manger
Le gros point noir de cet hôtel c'est la nourriture : peu de choix, qualité médiocre et grasse, les chambres auraient besoin d'une modernisation. Sinon insonorisation des chambres correctes par rapport à d'autres hôtels sur LLoret et grande piscine. Hôtel pas cher donc on en a pour son petit budget, il vaut mieux manger dans les petits snacks devant l'hôtel (pas cher ,meilleur et accueil sympa).
