"Fantastic spot. The rooms are modern, clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Felt like a modern hotel and not a classic inn. Staff seemed a little grumpy, maybe the heat! Rooms have AC which was great. They offer Bristol airport parking fee and you can taxi to the airport so it's a great spot if you're flying in and out of Bristol. We used it as a halfway point from Cornwall to midlands. Just 7 mins to cheddar gorge. Highly recommend."

The Walnut Tree Hotel

The Walnut Tree Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This was my third time staying at the hotel. It’s a good location with good links to Bridgewater, Western super mare and Taunton. Plenty of parking. The restaurant services a good selection of high quality food with plenty of choices as well as bar with an excellent selection of ales and ciders. The accessible rooms are a good size. Room 16 has a wet room with shower. There is only a hand rail. There is no shower seat and the toilet does not have any grab rails. The staff are very helpful and attentive. It was good to see the same staff as our previous stays last year. Looking forward to returning in the future."

"The hotel and staff were fantastic but the noise from drunk people using the drinking area on top of the room and opposite was not nice as woken with shouting/swearing late at night driving off in there loud exhaust car parked under our room window (not an official space either). Air con would be useful. Restaurant was lovely."
