10/10 Excellent
"First time staying here but in the lead up to our visit, staff were very helpful, answering questions about parking etc. On our first night we were over the kitchen and disturbed by an ongoing banging door. This was mentioned the following morning and we were moved to a much quieter location. Great rooms, well appointed and clean. Special thanks to hotel manager Mike and his wife who went above and beyond to find a colander and screen which was set up on the lawn for us all to experience the eclipse. His playlist was also extremely apt!!! We will definitely be back."

Cromwell's Tap House

10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay in the centre of Shrewsbury. Plenty of tea coffee and milk left and replenished daily. Lovely bar and beer garden, we ate here two nights as food was so good. It was very hot so windows left open, there was road noise in the mornings. I would advise bringing earplug if staying in the summer. Would stay here again if we returned to Shrewsbury"
