Fantastic location for enjoying the delights of Carvoeiro. Go for the room with the terrace to get the best view of the beach. Breakfast is delightful but extra. We stayed in the balcony room this time which was lovely but not as spacious inside or out as the terrace rooms. Very helpful staff. We are already planning our next trip back.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Vale da Lapa in April with our two young sons. The villa was spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day if you want it to be.
The swimming pools are great and the boys loved them. It was quite quiet the week we were there, so we often had them to ourselves. We also used the spa facilities and these were great too.
The restaurant had a good menu for lunches. We didn't go in the evenings, so I don't know about the menu for that.

Stayed for 1 week mid September 2014- ages 66, 35, 33 and 1 year old. Firstly the apartments- huge! You can tell they are built to be residential originally as they are really spacious with a fully equiped kitchen, utility room, living area and 3 bedrooms. Great pool area with baby pool and full size pool. Plenty of sun beds, never a problem getting one. However no bar, restaurant on site so you have to bring your own down from the room if you want drinks. Assume this is due to it being in a...

No issues at all, typical Wyndham and very new. If they wanted to equip the rooms a little better they could issue more tea, milk and a tea spoon or two. But, with Wyndham they feel it’s “much more efficient for the guest to phone Reception and have everything you want brought to you”!

We loved this resort. Set in lovely grounds with excellent facilities, we stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was immaculately clean and had everything you needed. The resort was very quiet and most mornings we had sole use of the gym. We opted for the breakfast buffet which provided an excellent spread of food with both hot and cold options. We would definitely go back again in the future

We had a fantastic time here with our 3 children. The staff and facilities were excellent and the location superb. Literally a 3-5min walk from our room to the most beautiful beach (and a great pizza place - a must!) If you have really young kids just be wary of the cliffs there because there's some sheer drops with not much warning!

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as a single traveller. The room was lovely, the decor was contemporary and the king size bed was great. The pool and grounds were beautiful, well maintained and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. There was only a small number of children staying at the hotel and that for me was also a bonus as it meant a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere. We stayed here in July 2014 as a family of four, kids aged 4 and 6. It is the best of both worlds - the convenience of an apartment with the facilities of a hotel.
We had a one bedroom suite which was perfect. Fully equipped kitchen including washer dryer and dishwasher, spacious living room with double sofa bed and separate king size bedroom. Two bathrooms (one en suite) and a terrace. The hotel is a nice size, not too big and very stylish and modern. It was spotless throughout and the...
