Since my cousins were staying at the Mulia, my 10 year old daughter and I were staying at Tijili hotel. You cannot compare since Mulia is 5-6 star and this is about a 3 star., so you get what you paid for! I was happy with the bed and the amenities offered inside our room such as the standard items: bottled water, soap/shampoo, toothbrush kit, etc. I did not care for the buffet breakfast but it was edible for us and thankful that the hotel staff allowed me to pay for an adult price and did not give me heartache after telling staff, that I was going to share food with my daughter. (she could have asked me to for my daughter) ( I think that being Indonesian and also speaking Bahasa helped) We walked to Mama Krisna, coffee and Kitchen on Jl. pratama 87 Nusa Dua for dinner and ate a Hawaiian pizza, spring rolls and vanilla milkshake, pinapple juice, all reasonable in price. Went there the next day for breakfast, and spent 220,800.00 IDR which is about $18.55 CDN for pancake plate, pancake special, cappucino and banana juice, all delicious! I did not use the hotel's pool but we did go out to the beach which is literally outside the hotel's backyard. It is next to cargo boats so you do have a bit of diesel smell lingering and hum of the engines around you. Water sports available but I did not partake in them. Parts of the beach littered with dirty diapers and debris so hotel staff should be diligent to clean up the mess. It would have been a better sight/view.
