Blaumar Hotel Salou
"Great staff, always helpful. Rooms really big, enough space for 2-3 people. Nice pool. Really comfy bed."
Hotel Jaime I
"Great hotel, laid back with plenty of food choices and better than usual deserts. Only complaint was it felt too busy around the pool areas (hotel was full in think) Worth the money though"
Rentalmar Salou Pacific
"Bed comfortable. Air conditioning excellent. Pool good size. Only flaw is room needs updating. Reception staff 5*. Close to buses and salou within walking distance"
PortAventura Hotel El Paso - Includes unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 day access to Ferrari Land
"Great hotel located a few minutes walk to the Portaventura parks, and to Hotel Caribe. Pool is large enough for everyone to swim (we went during May and again in June). Breakfast options are vast, we missed our allocated slot but the restaurant staff are friendly and happy to accommodate guest's anyway (they even opened the restaurant earlier as our flight time was 9am). Reception staff are friendly and accommodating, but the queues at reception can get long at busy times in te year. Overall a great hotel, close to the action, a short taxi distsnce to the beach and Salou's restaurants."
Ancora Salou Apartamentos
"We had a wonderful stay here with our three children. There was plenty of space for all of us, with a lovely big sofa that we could all fit on, big bedrooms and roomy bathrooms. The facilities were fantastic, kitchen with kettle, hob, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave with grill. The balcony was lovely over looking the pool and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view over Salou. The apartment was clean and modern with a huge TV which of course the kids loved! There are two showers and two toilets which was great! The staff were super friendly. The pool was lovely, small enough not to lose site of our youngest but big enough for everyone to be able to enjoy it. No sunbed wars with plenty free to use when needed. Overall we would most definitely return here, the location was perfect, very close to everything but far enough away from the noisy entertainment of the other hotels. We loved our time here, thank you to Team Ancora for our wonderful holiday 😊"
Ona Jardines Paraisol
"Really lovely 3 night stay at this apart hotel. Pool was great, always got a sunbed. It’s part residential. You can’t access the pool until 10am so no one sneaking down at 7am to bag a sunbed! Reception really helpful. It’s basic but clean and friendly. In a great quiet spot just 10 mins from the beach and one street away from restaurants, bars and shops."
Magnolia Hotel Salou - Adults Only
"This was my second stay here and will stay again. Lovely hotel close to everything you need and lovely staff"
Hotel Best Negresco
"Definitely get the sea view room. Location is everything with this place. We went for the eclipse and as an older couple we enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool. It was not the kind of place we normally go. It is perfect for families and it was nice to see people having fun without screens. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Appreciated that they were on top of keeping the floors dry with everyone dripping water. The place is a bit dated but it had a charm to it. The pool is the main feature and it was kind of nice that they close it early so you can enjoy the peaceful sea views in the evening. Elevators were a complaint for some but we were on the 3rd floor and didnt mind walking down. The other issue is the parking but we totally lucked out getting there early to get a spot near the hotel. We just kept up on paying the meter every 4 hours until the evening when parking was free."

For those keen to explore its rich historical landmarks and cultural attractions, including family-friendly spots, beaches, theme parks, golf courses, bungee jumping, windsurfing, ziplining, basketball courts, and its port, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is ideal. This period is perfect for visitors aiming to experience the area’s heritage and cultural significance while enjoying an affordable retreat.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals to Salou, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. With Smart Shopping , available via the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to spot the best hotel deals. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be the first to know for your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Salou hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead you to a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels closer to the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Salou's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that is still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less-crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money.
